Had enjoyable & fun time yest nite bt it's also THE most embarrassing moment of my life. The DSTA peeps made me wear this crown which says " Birthday Queen" in front and "The king is dead, long live the queen". I wasn't allowed to see what was written on it until we were at starbucks to cut the cake. I refused to wear it at the bus-stop at DSTA, I knew it wasn't anything gd. I really wish they threw me into the Singapore river than wear the crown. However, to be a sport I relented and wore it when we ate sakae sushi buffet at oub centre. Ok, BIG mistake cos they wouldn't let me take it down till 50 ppl greeted me happy bday!!
It wasn't dat bad at raffles place cos there weren't many ppl ard. My nightmare started when we started to head for esplanade. All the stares and sniggerring bt it was expected lar so jz gt to bare with it. It got worse when we were crossing the overhead bridge over to suntec cos all the ppl frm the PC show are heading home. Best thing was everyone left me alone to walk in front. I din have a hole to hide myself so I had to plaster my smile n charge ahead.
Total no. of ppl who greeted me --> mm..i lost count..first wast the waitress at sakae den an ang moh at raffles...a grp of gals who even sang me a bday song...another grp at the overhead bridge..ok nt a lot bt at least some
They bought me a NYDC cake. It was nice bt a bit sweet. The "credit card holder" style card they made was lovely, absolutely love it. Will post the kuku pics of me when i get them.
Can't wait for sat...meeting the Anything gals!!!
