Last Day of Internship

After 22 weeks of IA at DSTA, it's finally over. Before the start of IA, I was worried that I can't click with the ppl there. Luckily, there was this grp of fun-loving ppl who made my stay at DSTA a very memorable one.Yesterday marked the last day of our internship and we had our farewell party at furama hotel. It was also Calvin's bday. Being the bday boy he can't escape being sabo by us. We made him a skirt and bikini top from paper and plastic bag and he was forced to wear. It was quite hilarious. After dat we made him down half a glass of pure vodka. He went red almost immediately. I was so scared he will faint there n den.

Our last activity for the day was Night Safari!! It was ages since I last went there & it looked so different now. I think it look so much nicer. We completed walking thru most of the trail. The most captivating view was prob the scenery of the reservior when we were on the way to see the giraffes and zebras. The water was calm n the it acted like a mirror, perfect reflection. It looked as if it was painted. The only sucky thing was I couldnt take any photos of the animal cos I din noe how to adjust my cam settings. I shld go read up the manual soon. Argh...

I never thought this IA will give me so much. Experience, knowledge, friendship, fun , laughter... and of cos love ( it brought 2 couples together). I give my thanks & it's definitely the best 6 mths of my uni life.
